This beautiful tree was taken down by a storm last fall. Left to spalt for 6 months in the woods producing some wonderful colors. It’s my understanding these colors will fade. 🫠 Has this happened to anyone else? For now I’m living in the present and I am very happy I got to give some of this tree a second life.
